Model 101 – Chandelier in Classic Danish Design
The Model 101 Chandelier features five arms and five hand-folded lampshades. The gently curved arms meet at a rounded central fitting, giving the design a harmonious and balanced expression. With a height of 46 cm and a diameter of 66 cm, the chandelier is well suited to rooms with lower ceilings as well as taller spaces such as entrance halls and dining rooms.
The chandelier is available in brass and browned brass, each with its own distinctive character. The classic brass finish has a warm, golden tone, while browned brass lends the design a deeper, brown hue. The two variants are complemented by textile cords in white and natural linen, respectively.
Vintage Brass – Browned Brass
The browned finish is created through a controlled treatment of untreated brass, bringing out the material’s natural character. A final application of wax provides a protective layer. As the browning is an integral part of the brass itself, the surface will feature individual colour variations and may evolve over time depending on the surrounding environment and the composition of the brass. To preserve the finish, gently remove dust with a soft dusting brush or a clean, dry cloth, without applying excessive pressure.
KAARE KLINT Legacy
Drawing on the original Model 101 from 1944, the Klint Design Team has carried Kaare Klint’s design language forward in a series that also includes a wall lamp and a mini pendant. The series reflects his appreciation for considered proportions, quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship – values that continue to shape LE KLINT’s approach to Danish design. -
