We are proud to present the Celine pendant - a beautiful and unique pendant designed by OEO Studio and produced by Le Klint for Designmuseum Denmark in connection with the museum's extensive renovation two years ago. As a tribute to Le Klints historic relationship with the museum, Celine will be available from the beginning of December for everyone who values high-quality Danish design and lighting.

Elegant and Sophisticated Lighting
Celine is inspired by the original architecture of Designmuseum Denmark, with clean lines, bold curves, and geometric shapes. At first glance, the Celine pendant appears simple and pure, but behind this lies a complex design featuring an outer form in solid brass and a folded inner shade that mirrors the outer shape. This lighting solution is both elegant and functional, perfect for modern interiors.
The Story Behind It
Designmuseum Denmark, formerly known as The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, played a central role for architect Kaare Klint, the son of P.V. Jensen Klint and brother of Tage Klint, who founded Le Klint. Kaare Klint helped furnish and design all the interior elements for the museum in the 1920s and also taught and lived at the Academy for several years.
As part of a major renovation of Designmuseum Denmark from 2020 to 2022, the design studio OEO Studio was tasked with creating new guest areas in the museum. With respect for Kaare Klint's legacy, OEO Studio redesigned the original spaces, preserving iconic elements such as Le Klint's Model 101 pendants. At the same time, the idea emerged to create a new lamp in Kaare Klint's spirit—a pendant that would further strengthen the special connection between Le Klint and Designmuseum Denmark. The result was Celine—an exclusive pendant that combines tradition with modern design.
