The lamp was designed by Andreas Hansen in 1965. Like many other lamps from this period, it received a nickname based on its design.
This lamp was named 'Konval' (Lily of the Valley). Like the flower, it is finely faceted and closed in shape. This avoids glare and expands its range of use.
