Poul Seest Pedersen
Graphic artist and designer, 1927 - 2015
Poul Seest Pedersen was educated at the School of Arts and Crafts.
He worked with sculpture, experimental and industrial design, packaging, logos, trademarks, pictograms and graphic production. He established his own design studio and workshop in 1970 and and also worked as a teacher at the Danish School of Design from 1987 to 1992.
Poul Seest Pedersen was also involved in lamp design and created lampshades for Le Klint. His designs reflected the same minimalist and functionalist approach that he applied in his graphic work. The lamps he designed for Le Klint are known for their timeless, simple expression, fitting well into the Scandinavian design tradition.
The Christmas Bell
The Christmas Bell, Model 193, was introduced even before the turn of the millennium. After several years in our archives, it has rejoined our collection. Now featuring a new and elegant hang-up in golden metal, along with some beautiful charms with figures from our Christmas collection in the form of an angel, star, and heart.
The original design was created by Poul Seest Pedersen, and we naturally maintain the classic folding craftsmanship, but now with the hang-up and charms added by Brand Manager Isa Dawn Whyte Jensen.
