Comeback of the year nominee
The Mushroom is nominated in the Comeback of the Year category for the Design Awards 2019! The award goes to a piece of design that lands right in its new context and time.
The beautiful wall lamp Model 204 also known as The Mushroom, created by Vilhelm Wohlert in 1957, is the 2nd nominee in this year’s Danish Design Awards show, as the ‘Comeback Of the Year‘ category nomination.
The lamp is a wall lamp with a base in untreated light oak, and the pleated shade is handmade by our folding girls in Odense. It is naturally the lamp's shape that
inspired the name of the lamp.
We are very proud and humbled that the lamp has been nominated at this year's major design event.

The Danish Design Awards is an annual design event hosted by the creators of the award show - Bo Bedre Bolig Magasinet Cotume Living and Nordic Living Magazines.
There will be a live show at Bellevue Theatre in Copenhagen 3rd September 2019 where the winners will be revealed in front of an audience of design industry architects designers fellow participants sponsors press and much more…
