In June 2017, the Love & Light project sent a 40 foot container filled with school furniture and equipment to three schools and a kindergarten in Portland in Jamaica.
The area suffered extreme and widespread damage during hurricane Sandy in 2012.
2017 we shipped a 40 feet container with furniture and school supplies to three hurricane damaged schools and a kinder-garden, in the Blue mountains jungle region of Portland Jamaica. They had received only a little help from the government but they still had badly damaged classrooms and unsanitary facilities but the teachers still continue to hold classes every day for over 300 children ages 0 – 12 years old.
