Søren Refsgaard

Søren Refsgaard graduated from Design Seminariet college in 2003. He founded his own drawing office in Copenhagen in the same year.

His designs focus primarily on items relating to lighting, furniture and accessories for the home.

He is strongly influenced by the Scandinavian design tradition for simplicity and functionality, a tradition that is always clearly evident in his work.

“Simplicity and functionality are the essence of good design. Every single detail must be essential for the design, so that all the aspects of the design are thought out and adjusted before the product is put into production.”
