The Beat Goes On...
This year we have two updates for you from The Love & Light Project
Firstly, 2024’s donation is a continuation of last year’s theme - hospital patients and their families having to spend Christmas in hospital with a focus for 2024, cancer patients and their next of kin. I chose to continue with this theme this year because here at Le Klint, a few of our staff had contracted and survived this horrific disease. This project has been bigger than anticipated and is also a delicate process, so we will tell you more in 2025.
On a happier note… We have added another design to our Christmas Collection for 2024. We decided to be sustainable and re-introduce one of our original Le Klint design’s by Poul Seest Pederson… with a modern twist.
The Le Klint Christmas Bell joins our Christmas Collection.
The designer Poul Seest Pedersen who is no longer with us, has requested that his Royalties from Sales of the Christmas Bell are to be donated to support Doctors Across Borders - an amazing legacy and it will also be contributing towards The Love & Light Project So we really need your help by buying this product and spreading the word as our ambassadors.
The Christmas Bell is made in the same materials as our handcrafted designs. We decided to make a change to the aesthetics with a small golden detail at the top of the lamp for a more sleek and modern look and I designed three small golden paper charms in shapes of an angel a heart and a star that can be display on the lamp as you wish.
It is a beautiful timeless piece that can hopefully last a lifetime and pass on to generations to come. This design will also help to raise funds for The Love & Light Project.
