Poul Christiansen designed three versions of this model in 1974. A miniature version, a large version and a version that is open at the base. Each model has its own uses, depending on the need for a great deal of light, or if the lamp is to be hung at height so that the light bulb needs to be completely shaded. This miniature size is perfect for corner lighting or over a small occasional table.

Between 1969 and 1987 Poul Christiansen brought innovative and exciting dimensions to Le Klints lampshades. Poul Christiansen discovered that folding in mathematical curves gave the lampshades beautiful and unique sculptural shapes. His most famous creation is the SinusLine series which he developed by combining sine curves in such a way that they formed a lampshade when folded.Read more
